Pawtucket
Independence Square Foundation's first facility was established in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in 1983 when it acquired a school building there. It was quickly transformed into a site that now houses 14 non-profit organizations. The initial plans provided a special place for each organization along with shared areas such as client service facilities, an auditorium, a cafeteria and a gymnasium.
